This sanding stick redesign project was born from research on Fender shop workers. Through mapping the creation of guitars and the day-to-day journey of specific workers, pain points were highlighted in the sanding process. The redesign replaces DIY sandpaper sticks with an ergonomic, reusable handle which allows for comfortable work and multiple grip orientations.
